Coordinating Committee to End Woman Abuse in Thunder Bay & District works collaboratively to establish and support a comprehensive and effective community response to end woman abuse.

We believe in shared responsibility committed to ending woman abuse. We support the sharing of information and working together to insure the safety of woman and children.
Respect
We respect all members of the Coordinating Committee. We believe in working together in a respectful manner and value each other's opinions.
1. Member agencies must demonstrate a commitment to the mission of the Committee. The agency is the member. Agencies will identify a Committee member or designate to represent their organization. There will be one vote per agency.
2. Members will pay an annual fee set by the Committee and will play an active role, in person or via audio conference, in Committee activities.
3. Minimum number of active members required to form the committee is seven (ideal is 25).
4. New committee members will be brought to the committee as a whole for consideration.
As a working group, all members participate equally in the activities of the committee. We appoint four positions which include:
A schedule of meetings, recording of minutes is done on a rotating basis established at the June meeting. A standard agenda format is to be made available to all members by the Administrative Support. Agenda items will be submitted one week prior to the meeting date.
